Where Have All the Answers Gone? A Case Study in Knowledge Management

Prior to 2011 the Church History Library used an email management system that did not allow the staff to see or archive past questions and responses. This resulted in duplicated work and inconsistencies in responses. As a result, in 2011 we moved to a new knowledge management system that allows us to search prior responses, track questions, manage workflow processes, and allows for complete transparency. This change allowed us to manage more than just our email questions and responses. This is our story.
