AACR2 to RDA for the Audiovisual Cataloger

This presentation is geared toward the library paraprofessional who copy catalogs audiovisual materials. Viewing PowerPoint slides, he/she will learn to identify the fields that will be needed to be changed in an existing AACR2 audiovisual record if RDA becomes the new cataloging standard. Field by field, we will take an existing AACR2 record and show how it will look as it changes into an RDA records. Karen Griggs and Pam Grace plan to cover DVD’s, streaming videos, sound recordings, and playaways. Example and handouts will be given to everyone attending.
