Working Hard or Hardly Working: MLIS graduates finding work and making it pay in a harsh economy

We will synthesize current research and personal experiences to answer these questions:  How do we utilize our degrees in our current positions?   Is this job related to our ultimate career goals?  Are we interested in pursuing a faculty position?  Why?  How do we market ourselves for new jobs or promotions?  Are we satisfied with our current positions?  If not, how do we find fulfillment?  How do we prioritize our contributions to the workplace relative to our rank and compensation?  (I.e. Am I willing to do more work for less money?  Is it fulfilling or good for a resume?)
